Brass DN 5 Red Air Coupling Socket 9 mm Hose Pillar Bulkhead

Brass DN 5 air coupling socket with a 9 mm hose pillar connection and bulkhead thread. A pneumatic coupling is used to quickly connect air tools to a compressed air line. The coupling requires two parts: the socket (female) and the plug or nipple (male part). When disconnected, the coupling automatically shuts off to maintain the line pressure.

Easily mount a hose over the 9 mm hose pillar. Optionally, order a hose clamp for proper fixation of the hose. The socket has bulkhead thread to mount it to a panel. This coupling is suitable for vacuum applications. The operating pressure range is -0.95 to 35 bar. The socket is suitable for temperatures between -20 to 100°C. The rated flow rate is 560 l/min. The seal material is NBR (nitrile rubber). It has a red band for easy visual identification. Each color has a different shape (octagonal, triangle, ..). Colored plugs can only be connected to sockets with the same color, but they are also compatible to non-colored sockets. The color system prevents accidental interchange of different medias or pressures.

This product is compatible with: Rectus (21, 90), Camozzi (DN 5), EWO (DN 5), KANI (DN 5), Festo (KD3/KS3), IMI-Norgren (233), Aventics (CP1-NW 5). They are often referred to as compressed air couplings, compressor couplings, pneumatic fittings, air hose couplings, etc.
