Cleared for Takeoff at 007 Airport
Tucked into the French Pyrenees, Loudenvielle isn’t your typical World Cup venue. Nestled in the Louron Valley with a glacial lake at its base and jagged peaks above, this small mountain town has quietly become one of the most beloved stops on the UCI Downhill World Cup calendar — and the track tells you exactly why.
The course is a tale of two halves. It opens near one of downhill racing’s most iconic landmarks: the Airport 007. The name isn’t just a nod to danger and speed — it’s a direct reference to a piece of cinema history. In the 1997 James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, the opening sequence was filmed right here in the Pyrenees. Bond commandeers a hijacked military jet from a terrorist arms bazaar, and that chaotic, full-throttle escape across an open mountain airfield? That’s the Airport 007. The feature is named in its honor.
And it fits perfectly. Flat, fast, and wide open like the runway Bond tore across, this section flings riders down the mountain at full throttle — no braking, no mercy, just commitment. License to thrill. It’s where race runs are built and confidence either soars or gets left on the ground.
Then it drops. What follows is some of the steepest, most technical terrain of the entire season — roots, rocks, off-camber lines, and high-consequence commitment at every turn. The riders who can carry that airport speed into the chaos below are the ones who punch the clock.
This tee was designed to honor that duality. The Airport 007. The Pyrenees. The moment where flat-out becomes all-in — shaken, not stirred.

T-Shirt Material
This heavyweight garment-dyed tee feels like an old favorite from the first wear. The relaxed cut and soft, faded color come from the after-construction dyeing process, giving each shirt a lived-in look that only improves with time. Bold, vintage-inspired aviation artwork sits on the back—a single-engine plane over rugged mountains—while smaller chest graphics add the look of an authentic pilot patch. Wear it on weekend trips, trailside meetups, or casual days when you want something comfortable that still tells a story about travel and curiosity. The fabric’s weight and double-stitched seams give it substance and durability, while the tubular knit and pre-shrunk ring-spun cotton keep the silhouette clean and relaxed through multiple wears.
