This 2-way DN 80 flanged ball valve is made of stainless steel with Teflon (PTFE) sealings. Standardized length of 180 mm conforming to DIN 3202-F4 (EN 558-1 Row 14). The valve is suitable for water, sea water, combustible gases, lubricant, fuel, oil, strong acids and bases, dilute acids and bases, carbon dioxide and air up to a maximum pressure of 40 bar (580 psi) and vacuum (max. -0.9 bar or -13 psi). The valve can be equipped with an actuator using the ISO 5211 F07 flange, but it requires a separate adapter and mounting bracket, which are not provided. The valve operates within a temperature range from -20 to 200 °C (-4 to 392 °F). An actuator can be mounted using a mounting flange according to ISO 5211 when it is used in conjunction with a special bracket and shaft adapter.
Pros:
- Standardized installation length of 180 mm according to DIN 3202-F4
- Unobstructed flow path thanks to the full bore design
- Suitable for aggressive media and high temperatures thanks to the high quality materials
- Suitable for vacuum
- Easy installation and maintenance thanks to the standardized DN 80/PN 40 flange
Cons:
- To disassemble the valve for inspection and cleaning it has to be completely removed from the pipe
