Bürkert indirect operating 2/2-way solenoid valve with G1” inner threads and 230V UC (alternating or direct current) coil. The valve has a brass housing with EPDM sealing and an orifice size of 25 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. The brass housing is durable, suitable for neutral fluids and resistant to many chemicals. The EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber) sealing is suited for neutral fluids and many chemicals, but it has poor resistance to oils and fats. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. 6281 series
The Bürkert 6281 valve is an indirect operated solenoid valve of the S.EV series. To open and close, the valve features a large flexible rubber membrane. The pressure difference over the inlet and outlet ports is used to move the membrane up and down. Therefore, always a minimal pressure differential is required. Thanks to the special design of the membrane and valve seat, the valve operates quietly. The brass housing satisfies all European drinking water requirements. The 6281 series is available with a wide variety of options, such as other housing materials, ATEX versions and a manual override feature.
