Bürkert semi-direct operating 2/2-way solenoid valve with G3/4” inner threads and 24V UC (alternating or direct current) coil. The valve has a stainless steel housing with FKM sealing and an orifice size of 20 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. Suitable for systems with a differential pressure of 0.5-5 bar and a maximum temperature of 90°C. The valve has a Kv-value of 8.3 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 138.33 l/min at the differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). The stainless steel housing is very durable, strong and resistant to a wide range of chemicals with the exception of chloride solutions. The FKM (fluorine rubber or viton) sealing has excellent chemical properties, is suited for most oils and solvents but it cannot handle hot water or steam. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. The valve’s design prevents water hammering. Energy efficient design for a long product lifecycle. The valve is fat and oil free, meaning it won’t contaminate the media. Therefore, it’s suitable for laboratory use as well as oxygen. The valve is certified for ATEX Ex-Zone 1, so it can be used in potentially explosive environments requiring this certification. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected.
Important advantages
- ATEX certified up to Ex-Zone 1
- Oil and fat free, so the valve does not contaminate the medium
- Energy-saving design which ensures a low heating of the medium and, in addition, a long service life
- The risk of water hammer is low, thanks to the dampened closing
- Good protection against the environment thanks to the IP65 rating
- This valve is suitable for use with oxygen
- The 6213 valve combines high flow capacity with the ability to operate with low pressure differentials
- Bürkert design: proven reliability & durability
6213 series
The Bürkert 6213 valve is a semi-direct operated valve. The plunger of the solenoid is coupled to the rubber membrane via a spring. The valve opens from zero bar, but only opens fully when a minimal pressure differential is present. Orifices up DN 40 and port sizes up to 2 inch are available. All 6213 valves satisfy protection class IP65 and it’s housing has a damped design for quiet closing. The standard brass housing satisfies all European drinking water requirements. A special version (HP00) which opens the valve without differential pressure is available for gas and vacuum applications. For reduced energy requirement, all coils can be delivered with electronic power reduction.
Please note: this product is made to order and can therefore unfortunately not be returned.
