This pneumatic cylinder is double acting, meaning it requires air pressure to extend and retract the rod. The cylinder adheres to ISO 21287 (also referred to as a compact cylinder), which is a globally accepted and widely used standard. The advantage is that it enables world-wide inter-changeability with other major brands such as Festo, SMC or Norgren. The bore size is 32 mm and it has a stroke length of 70 mm. This cylinder has an operating pressure of 1 to 10 bar (14.5 to 145.04 psi). The piston rod has a M8 threads at the end. The piston contains a magnetic element. This allows precise position feedback of the rod location by mounting (one or more) magnetic sensors, such as reed or hall sensors. The cylinder has two G 1/8 inch ports for the air routing. The cylinder can be mounted rigid or flexible with a wide range of mounting options, such as rod swivel joint ends (ISO 8139) or rod fork ends.
