The kettle can produce 27 oz. of hot water in just 9 minutes when powered by two 18V LXT 5 Ah batteries (sold separately). For added convenience, the kettle automatically shuts off when the water is boiled. It has a boil-dry feature that prevents operation when empty, and a sensor that prevents the kettle from operating when not on a stable surface. The kettle also has a convenient carry handle on the top for easy portability.

It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18V Lithium-Ion System, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries.
