Description

The W1 is a required component of the Simpson Strong-Tie WT wedge form tie that is sold separately. The wedge tie (WT), a form tie that secures concrete forms in place while the concrete is poured, requires a wedge on each end to hold the form boards in place. These wedges are designed for easy installation into and removal from the provided slots.

• Designed and manufactured to work specifically with the WT wedge form tie
• Tapered design accommodates expansion and contraction of wood as a result of moisture content
• One size of W1 fits both composite and lumber WT models
• The WT’s 5/8-in. wide formed ‘V’ design for rigidity allows accurate form spacing and support
• Use two of these 3-1/2 in. long wedges for each WT tie
• Made from 14-gauge steel
